During my pregnancy, I struggled with fatigue and had a hard time finding the motivation to exercise. However, I knew that staying active was important for my overall health and the health of my baby. Walking ended up being my go-to form of exercise, and I found ways to make it fun and enjoyable.
One of my favorite things to do was to explore new parks and trails with my husband. We would make a day of it, packing a picnic lunch and exploring the beauty of nature together. I also found that listening to my favorite music or podcast while walking helped me to stay focused and motivated.
At times, walking was a challenge, and I had to listen to my body and adjust my pace accordingly. But overall, it was a great way to stay active and prepare for the arrival of my little one. And even after my baby was born, walking with her in a stroller became a favorite activity for both of us.
So, to all expectant mothers out there, I highly recommend finding ways to make walking during pregnancy fun and enjoyable. It may not be the most intense form of exercise, but it's a great way to stay active and prepare for the amazing journey of motherhood.
